    first off competitive battleing is battleing with rules think of it being like a wifi battle with flat rules, none of the same pokemon on your team, no two pokemon can hold the same item, and specific pokemon are banned

    and if you really get into competitive play pokemon are divided up into tiers based on how high their overall stats are coupled with their ability so if you get competitive you can start battleing with pokemon from specific tiers like me, i personally battle RU more than OU but others will like UU more, its really preferance

    A faster/easier way to find that out would be to look it up on google cause its hard to get peoples attention so that they respond But I personally like using a [Modest Zoroark with 252 SpAtk, 252 Spe, 4 Hp, with the move set being Focuse Blast, Night Daze, Flamethrower, Hyper Beam]

    building competitive pokes is all preferance like on that zoroark i would have personally run focus sash nasty plot,dark pulse,flame thrower,and last move depends on the team

    if your looking for a good pokemon to start a competitive team that is reliable i would recomend an eviolite doublade with 240evs in hp,252 evs in sp def and the rest in atk with a impish/relaxed nature

    Thor: Does she have to follow Smogon's rules? They ban Greninja, Mega Rayquaza, Zoroark, Swagger, etc. Smogon's rules make battles more restrictive, and they ignore how much luck you need in Pokemon.

    yes I like using rare pokemin like Rhyperior, Porygon-Z, and Milotic. and if you are gonna Wi-fi battle then watch out for Sub/Seeders and F.E.A.R users [ a good way to beat them iw having a fast prankster with toxic or will-o-wisp

    Thor: Mega Rayquaza is really powerful, but he still has weaknesses to Ice, Dragon and Fairy. He is only protected against Rock-type attacks, so it's not too OP. But his stats make him stronger than an Arceus... With Gregninja, he's pretty much a glass cannon. If you have a fast Electric type, you can beat him before he uses Protean. His ability just makes him another Porygon or Kecleon.
