Question

I tried to defeat and catch kyogre, but i died and i saved after that, now kyogre wont come back. I only have 7 gym badges! Help!!!

    beat the elite 4 and go back to the place where kyogre is, he will go back

    When you enter the cave of origin again, take the first path that branches off to the left instead of going all the way around to where you rode on kyogre's back. If you go left, it will take you down to the bottom room where you actually fight kyogre.

    try going out of the cave, then challenge wallace, then challenge E4, go back, catch kyogre.

    save your game before you catch kyogre. that way if you or the pokemon died. you get to start where you last saved your game.
