    Nah, Cresselia is always in its portal, but crescent isle only stays until midnight. Then it's gone until the next time the isle is randomly picked to appear for the day. You can battle cresselia an unlimited number of times, but if you run from it or KO it, you have to beat the elite 4 again for it to respawn in the ring.

    Same thing with ho-oh. It is always in the ring. If you KO or run from it, you have to beat the elite 4 again to respawn it.

    No, but crescent isle is completely random mirage spot. So who knows if and when you will encounter it again. You need to enter Hall of Fame again if you accidentally flee, defeat, or lose to it. So save often.

    It should be the same as all the other legendaries. Every time you KO/run from it, it should respawn after beating the elite 4. You can keep doing this as much as you want.
