1) Lag in battles, lag in menus, input lag, etc., and things just all around being slow(er) even without the lag. This engine is worse than Gen 5's 2) XY was bad. Generic characters, an alright (which is a decrease from BW/B2W2) plot, a relatively low number of new pokemon (though I suppose mega evolutions slightly counteract that), kalos being an overall bland region, what jonathan said, (cont.)

2 (cont).) I hate france, that last one was a joke, too much adventure and plot segregation, etc. 3) ORAS didn't have enough improvements to the original release. And before you say it, I'm not just talking about the water. Tate and Liza were made too easy, few ground type moves before watson, EVERYTHING IS SLOWER, Trick house, Somehow made May's character worse (is she tsundere or kuudere??), etc

And the anti climatic story is a relative thing, Lysandre wanting to kill everyone who is nlt part of team flare is quite dark in the otherwise cheery ambient of the rest of the game, the ultimate weapon being fueled by killing thousands of pokémons and humans alike is dark too, Lysandre pretty much died/killed himself by shootin the ultimate weapon on his own base

Yeah but that's only in Y In X he's doomed to live forever, trapped within the base. Both are at the very least a new thing for the franchise, but they had tried too hard to be all "who could the leader of team flare be??? is it this guy who is DRESSED EXACTLY LIKE TEAM FLARE??? takes a creepy interest in you, THE PROTAGONIST WHO HAS FOILED HIS PLANS???" they flubbed his reveal.

71 new pokemon is a major step back from the 156 new pokemon from gen V. What do mega evolutions really change anyway? Battles are still the same with mega evolutions, so what is lost if one doesn't use them?

Because you hate france and that you had problems with the trick house are downright ridiculous arguments, and menus move faster than before, lag is caused by too many pokémons been in battle at the same time, and how is everything slower, once again your basis for your arguments are based on your personal opinion and not hard facts

And theres no actual need to hide his role as the as the leader of team flare, I agree with the generic characters and Diantha is a bad champion, and mega evolutions do matter as many times they change the way old pokémonbare used

@Jonathan Comparing it to Unova, who featured exclusively new pokemon isn't completely fair. Sinnoh had 107 new pokemon Hoenn had 135 Johto had 100 Kanto had 151. Oh, wait. Kalos is still significantly behind.

If you know your stuff, generation V was actually criticised for adding too many new pokémon, so they corrected that by adding a samller number of new pokémon in generation Vl

You can still go throughout the whole game without mega evolutions and not notice any difference. Heck, they have to make several mega evolution encounters mandatory just to let us know they exist and we should use them. I have a lot of perks with mega evolutions so I'm not gonna go into depth about them but all I can tell you is that they don't live up to their hype in my eyes.

No, I didnt say that thinks don't lag or that you cannot list it as a problem, I actually said that things do lag in battles but I gave a reason as to why they lag, but that pretty much happens only in triple battles and only when there are too many things in movement, like too many pokémon flapping their wings or the like, and things do lag in online battles but thats pretty much inevitable

Regardless of the meaning of mega evolutions, they did manage to including it into the plot without making a big deal about it, wich is good given that they didn't appear in the original plot of RS , and if mega evolutionns were mandatory due to the metaphorical difficulty levels, people would co,plain thq-at the games is too hard, and if you were showered with OP mega evolutions it would be too e
