    Well, it's more useful than Torrent. And it got off better than Tepig, who gets the excellent Thick Fat... until it evolves and ends up with the much less useful Reckless.

    Meh. Emboar gets Flare Blitz, Wild Charge, and Head Smash, so at least he gets some use from his ability. Too bad he's too freaking slow to actually use this stuff well. But eh. I guess preventing crits helps.

    More than you'd think. Also, you'll be able to laugh off Storm Throws and won't have to worry about dice rolls ruining your debuffing plans. Also, with Emboar, he can be a great bulky attacker, but he really does not need to be taking extra damage from recoil. Maybe Thick Fat Eviolite Pignite could be a thing?
