Does anyone base their Pokémon OCs on Pokémon they've actually raised? Or do you prefer to make them before actually capturing them? I've mostly been doing the latter.

    -I was a Treecko on Mystery Dungeon Rescue and Explorers so I made an OC of him. -Trained a Mightyena on Shapphire. -I did Lucario and Skymin when I first got them on pkmn platinum. -Quilava on HeartGold. -Zorua on Black and then White 2. Skymin was the first pkmn I actually nicknamed.
