    Really lame that there's no gear in this game that's awesome and has no downside... That both brothers can have at the same time.

    Star boots or Master boots are good. But yeah, I hate when powerful gear has a downside, (cough) dark boots (cough)

    I would be OK if there was a 2nd set of Expert gear, but there's not. I also think that the Master Boots/Hammer feels awkward, with the 3rd stomp and 2nd swing.

    Luigi's Rocket Star. Little werid to get used at first, but its pretty easy yet very powerful. Great for boss battles. As for Mario, I would say Bye-Bye Cannon or Jet-Board Dash. Bomb Derby is good too.

    What about Luiginary attacks? My choice is the Luiginary Hammer. It has helped me many times in defeating Gold Beanies.

    Same. Its not that good in boss battle for when the boss sums up a bunch of enemies. (ex, Big Masstif X)

    There was a time during my 2nd playthrough of Hard Mode, I was fighting 2 Piranha Plants and I used Luiginary Flame... I got the "Excellent" but I somehow missed one of them.

    Antasma X by a mile. Truth be told, I've never beaten the boss medley on Hard Mode before. Antasma X takes up too many turns so I can't beat the super boss at the end.

    I haven't played Antasma X before. Though, if were not talking about battle ring wise. I would say Pill'odum or Dreamy Bowser.

    Agreed. For Giant Battles, I would choose Zeekeeper. The part were you need to chase him through a portal and need to tilt to dodge and attack. I think Dreambert is the reason why the controls reset mid-battle.

    Oh, yeah. His expressions in that part of the game are priceless! Thats my favorite scene! The one when Kamek admits he likes wearing in Peach's dress is a close second.
