story time: the first shiny I ever gotten was a Magikarp in Pokémon emerald (fished out by accident), I was so excited when I got a shiny red Gyarados....until I got Pokémon Heart-gold

    mine was in emerald it was a shiny Ryhorn i had no idea at the time what a shiny was so i got it because it looked cool i was so happy then that moment ended when i lost it, probably on pokemon XD when the game disc broke

    you transferred your Rhyhorn to Pokémon XD (I didn't even know you could transfer)? that is a tragic story, worse than mine, I'm still lucky to have my shiny Gyarados even when I transferred it to different games

    Pokémon disappearing!! its hard to believe, but I believe you since I lost Articuno (level 100) through unknown means (kinda just disappeared) (I won't compare Articuno with your Shiny Rhyhorn though, since yours is a shiny)
