This is IMPOSSIBLE! It's like saying "you have 50 sacks, each with a random coin, now hand me the only three that are silver." How the hell can I possibly know which of my 100+ attacks to use without cheating and using a guide!?

  • You can use charge attack, 360 attacks or wicked weaves.

  • That doesn't really explain much, and anyway I won anyway using pure dumb luck.

  • i commented in a lot of ur posts today, mate. seems like platinumgames got u real good with this game, hahahahaha xD yeah, they are old time gamers. remember how insanely frustrating contra was? well that's the kind of difficulty they're trying to achieve. and it seems that the concept of "tutorial" are just not in their dictionary :( anyway, my User Page -> Activities. any questions, anytime ;)

  • pendergast first of all they didn't explain anything besides "here's the controls, press buttons for combos, ok good luck" second I don't have the 4-gun setup anymore so that's irrelevant.

  • Right after they show you how to punch and kick, they show the effects of holding those buttons down and spinning the control stick and pressing one of the attack buttons. It's applicable to all the weapons, so it is relevant.

  • yeah but they're slow, horribly weak, and generally inaccurate or leave you immobile

  • Maybe you should go pick a lower difficulty if you think they're too slow or weak. The 360 spin attacks will shoot where you direct them for guns and hit around you for other weapons. You can keep the charge on the sword even after dodging. If it was too easy to spam super powerful attacks, it would make battles more or less pointless, which is basically what the game is all about.

  • Picking a lower difficulty is a mockery. If I have to go below Normal, I've already failed (and by extension, so have the devs)

  • I don't know what to tell you cause Bayonetta isn't that hard of a game.

  • In comparison to other similar games like the Devil May Cry (particularly 3), Ninja Gaiden (Black and 2) and God Hand, Bayonetta isn't that hard.

  • I have DMC3. This is way harder.
