It appears the 8th gym leader gives you a blue triforce if you win, although i'm pretty sure that shouldn't be in this game series. It's a little much for just spamming Solar Beam and Percipice Blades, though. (Unless you have Alpha Sapphire, in which case it's spamming Thunder.)

    The triforce is everywhere i've seen it in a few games and even movies and they're not related to zelda games at all, which is really wierd lol
