    Alright! <3 I'll post my tips in one comment each because I like to explain stuff. 1. DODGING You know Bayonetta and her Witch Time. There's a bonus! You get 1.5x combo points during it. Also, the purchasable "Bat Within" technique allows you to dodge upon impact with an attack. Don't wait for Witch Time so you can attack, but always be ready to dodge for it!

    2.) DODGE OFFSET. OK so. This is never mentioned, yet it's the most important combat trick. It's in a tomb in the select screen. If you are in a combo and dodge while holding down your last button pressed, you can continue the combo. This is important because if you do not use a Wicked Weave attack in a while, your combo points will start to decrease. I suggest looking at a video tutorial online.

    3.) COUNTER You don't -need- it to be good. In fact, you need the Moon of Mahaa-Kalaa accessory or Link's outfit to do it. Quickly moving into an enemy's attack at the last moment counters them. If you counter them as soon as the attack hits you, it's a perfect counter. You get witch time and a bonus counter-attack. You can counter fireballs and projectiles, too!

    Random stuff: *Taunting holds your combo, but enrages your enemy. *Enraged enemies hit hard but give you bonus combo points *Shoot enemies while getting over to them to keep the combo going. Also, holding an attack button while dodging with Scarborough Fair shoots bullets at the same time. *The bigger the combo, the more halos you get. *Do Alfheim portals! They count toward your score.

    FINALLY... Sorry if this is taking too long. *Look around the world for broken Witch Hearts, Moon Pearls, and the LPs for new weapons. *Buy all of your techniques first- the last 3 are unlocked after chapter 5. Buy everything else in whatever order you want. Get these techniques first: Air Dodge, After Burner Kick, Stiletto & Heel Slide, Tetzuzanko.

    ^ trust her, she's good at this game. hahaha anyway, feel free to swing by at my User Page -> Activities if u need advice on particular chapter. drop a question or anything there ;) my one and only tips: don't be frustrated if u die. we all die. a lot. just keep trying, and u'll get there ;) probably buy another pro controller since u'll throw that one to a wall xD

    I'm actually surprised at how well the gamepad works, though. And I have tiny hands! Never felt like buying a pro, but everyone holds the controller differently :)
