so I'm playing Very Easy. Yeah, I know it sounds weird considering I can run higher difficulties decently. Let me explain though. Running and beatin Easy or Very Easy, unlocks the immortal marionette item at The Gates of Hell, for purchase on Normal and higher. It essentially allows you to combo automatically and will also auto dodge for you. However, there's a catch:

    on higher difficulties, (normal and above) combo points are halved. May sound horrible, but its useful in emergencies on the higher difficulties because of the auto dodge.

    yeah, there's no shame in playing in lower difficulties ;) if i might add, pure platinums on very easy could be really hard. because enemies dies too quickly before u could meet that combo quota. it take -a lot of- strategy.
