hints I'll make the WILD guess that the game is still in early alpha stage. Considering this, it will require at the very least around a year or slightly less before it comes out in Japan. Also, there are some things in the trailer that left me with a... strange feeling. I dunno. Also, there is a MAJOR fear of mine to consider... To my point of view, IS has to possible options has of now:

A) "Surfin'" the wave of success Awakening had, producing a quickly-made title "identical" in his forms to Awakening with a different story. This will assure some sure sellings based on hype, but it's not good in the long term. B) Take its time, focus on the aspect that appeased more to fans, from Awakening etc. and released a "perfectioned" title. I do am afraid, as of now. Let's be positive.

@Angel Maybe a bit, I'm more interested into the gameplay than the story. Generally I'm playing FE because of the gameplay and not the story, though a good one wouldn't hurt. Avatar/Marriage system yes, no? I need answers to these questions (and many more) before I can get hyped. However I like that what I saw so far.

@Charlotte I can totally understant! To be honest, it actually left me a strange impression: summoning/conjure is not available in the game as skill. So... it is a new "race" of allies? (Taguel etc.) A brand new enemy to the game? (Risens?) Or maybe it does not mean anything? Also, the game will have a protagonist or an Avatar-related "deuteragonism"?

Only time will tell the importance of the golemthing I guess. It looks like there is both a female and male version of the silverhaired one with red eyes, maybe one can choose or maybe it's twins like in sacred stones? Also there is some roman vs. japanese war going on if one looks at the first scene in the trailer. This sure looks exciting!

@Becca Hopefully... yes. I do hope, at least. Remember that FE as a brand did not sold very much before Awakening, so... I assume they'll aim to appease to the majority of players. @Boris Wish I know... some things have been confirmed indirectly, like pair-up system, so we hopefully can assume some others did carried to this new title...

It's named Fire Emblem if (that's the title; seriously) and comes out this spring in Japan. No marriage options and enemy pair-ups are at the top of my list for gameplay changes.

@Charlotte It's a possibility! It would sure be exciting if they let you choose which side to play in, by in-game choices, pretty much like the "Route option" in FE8. That golem will still be giving me nightmares... @Daan The game has a "working title" below so I assume they will change it. ...Enemy Pair-ups... BRR... They really gave a release date?! Didn't heard that! ( 0__0) @Becca ...Hope.

@Dan ...Why they would be changing the title for the west, it doesn't m-... You know what? Nevermind. It's strange, but if they truly did so, no points in complaining... Hopefully not. Awakening also being well received in the west, that should slightly push them to speed things up in localization.

Titles are changed through localization. Some of them are simple (monster hunter 4G- monster hunter 4 ultimate). Others, not so much.
