@Ryan, my thoughts exactly. I couldnt care less about the game since it seems more like a game that should be on Pokémon.com, but I'm pretty disappointed that Nintendo is experimenting with free-to-play IAP-centered games. I've started to warm up to the concept of DLC, but I really don't think Nintendo needed to make an IAP-based game and and IAP-based game doesn't belong on a Nintendo console IMO

  • I love Pokémon but this game just seems to be another Bejewled/Candy Crush rip-off.

    Yeahs1
  • NO. Just NO. It's a Candy Crush clone, complete with microtransactions, limited play time, and F2P. We need to show Nintendo we do not want microtransactions! But those casuals will flock to this trash like moths to a light. And then Nintendo games will be ruined forever more. Stop Pokemon Shuffle, before we have F2P in all our beloved game series! #StopPokémonShuffle #NoF2P

  • @Benjamin And Candy Crush stole ideas from countless Nintendo puzzlers, so this is Nintendo copying themselves... with a system Candy Crush players are familiar with. If it has no new ideas, I won't be interested and as long as really small teams develop side projects like this I'm fine with it. It's not like Nintendo will do this to all their franchises - they just milk the cow with Pokémon.

  • Candy Crush was designed with the randomness in mind so it's sometimes not possible to beat a level unless you have luck and try it again and again or you pay for more lives and extras. This is not how to design a game. It's even worse than the overpowered bosses in fighting games back in the days, when people had to feed the arcade machines with all of their money just to learn their patterns.

  • As a meme run fan I generally don't care about this stuff, though this has GONE TOO FAR.
