You've got to love Passersby who ask you to trade, then just show off their (probably illegitimate) legendaries. Thankfully, after showing them my Pokemon named "No Thnx!" and "Goodbye" they got the message.

  • Some time after I finally completed the pokedex, and used pokebank to move over all my pokemon when ever someone shows off their pokemon like that, I end up just showing mine which more often than not are rarer then what they are trying to do. Almost immediately they cancel the trade.

  • Haha, that's what I started doing, too. Initially they were just showing off an Arceus, but then it was a shiny Giratina, too. I've got the shiny Sinnoh dragons from Gamestop, plus an extra Gamestop shiny Suicune, so I just displayed those in rapid succession. It just feels so immature. :S

  • They probably are legitimate... just because they're showing off doesn't mean their pokemon are fake ;3;

  • I know the feeling, I seriously need to name some pokemon in order to do that rather than just trying to cancel which feels rude. I don't get why people feel the need to do that, it's just rude to flash things at people like that.

  • That's true, Naomi, but if theirs was the event Giratina, it was in the wrong Pokeball. I'm not sure if the Arceus was in the right one, though. Still, you're right they could be legit, and it makes more sense to want to brag when your Pokemon are the real deal, but these days I tend to assume they're not. :x
