i know this is a noob question but what is pokerus and what does it effect and do cause i seem to have alot of pokemon that have pokerus on them

    pokerus 1 in 2000 chance of getting it its a pokemon virus whitch makes them stronger my reshiram has it

    It's a rare disease that affects a Pokémon's stats (in a good way). I've never been one for IVs, though, so maybe someone else can explain exactly HOW the stats are affected better than I can.

    Pokerus doubles all EVs gained through battle. So your pokemon will reach its maximum EV potential faster through battling wild pokemon and trainers. Basically, it just means your pokemon's stats will increase at a faster rate.
