    I was pretty upset that this didn't happen, actually. He uses a Trident about as often as he uses swords, but only really in Beast Ganon form on handheld Zelda games (Hyrule Warriors seems to pretend the handheld ones don't exist).

    Or how about the Warlock blade (AKA his sword from Twilight Princess) I here about a rumours about the April 1ST Nintendo Direct that if you use the Ganondorf amiibo you get a new weapon for him, but it was comfirmed fake, But were getting a Ganondorf amiibo soon in June here in Europe and September in America.
