    Ah Joy, very obnoxious. I've looked into it and the best way to handle Joy is the Onyx Roses. At point blank, they'll stagger her and mess up her attacks. use the charge modifier move. (hold down the punch or kick button.) Her article on the Bayonetta wiki has more info on good weapons to use on her.

    Joy's pretty much a rehash of the Plasma enemy in the first Devil May Cry (another game directed by Kamiya.) One attack you should avoid at all costs is the move where Joy clones herself. Kill her or stagger her before she can do this because the clone will be at full health.
