    While you are playing tomodachi life ho to town hall and press qr code than choose a character and wait till your top screen shows the qr code than press the hone button and go back to miiverse and press post than in the top right corner press the + button and select the qr code

    Well you can scan QR codes you see with the QR code button in the town hall. Then you will have the mii who that QR code belonged to on your island. You can also make QR codes of miis you create and post them so others can scan it.
