    This is pretty good for a first try, If you want my honest opinion. If you can & have the time, Try drawing a character using a reference image. It'll take a while but if you keep at it you can make it look like its from the game. There are 3 shading techniques I know. 1, Horizontal/vertical lines. 2, Checkered pattern, 3, Diagonal lines. Try each one & see the difference in them. Cont.

    The lines have to be perfectly straight though, Which takes alot of trial & error. Nobody gets good at drawing overnight though. As you get better you'll find the artstyle you like best. Experimentation & observation can help you out.
