ART. Many fond memories of Atari afterschools playing Combat, Asteroids, Pac-Man, Skydiver, Pitfall, River Raid, that Star Wars snowspeeder game, and E.T. (labelled by heartless people as the worst game ever made).

Thanks! Berzerk, Pitfall, Secret Quest, and Mario Bros were/are my favs for the good ol Atari. I can think of five recent games worse that ET. lol!

You have Ninja Golf! That one and Midnight Mutants are on my ''must have'' list.

I've got Midnight Mutants too! For a 7800 game it was pretty ambitious, and possibly one of the best games on the system. I don't play it much now though. When it comes to retro gaming, I generally like arcade style games that provide a short, crazy button mashing frenzy. There's nothing short or quick about Midnight Mutants! (Unless you're terrible at the game. Then it's over pretty quick!)

Back to Ninja Golf, if there ever was a game that cried out for a full blown remake, Ninja Golf is it! Imagine: golf courses all over the world in HD graphics, nine-irons and crazy ninja action, epic monster boss battles!!! Nintendo, Namco, heck, even Activision; someone please make this happen! It could possibly be the best game ever.

I look forward to owning it someday. I sure wish a few Atari games would make it to the virtual console.

My first video gaming experience was Pong! My grandparents bought a dedicated Pong console (my memory is a bit sketchy going back this far) maybe around 1977. Our minds were blown!
