Question

I just downloaded this game today. But I don't understand this. The first thing I photographed was a roll of toilet paper. The game turned that into a campaign button with a pin on it that you wear on a shirt. The second thing I photographed was a Nintendo 3DS. The game turned the 3DS into a book for the museum. So what's the deal with that? Does it not know what these things are?
