Question

is this challenge broken or am i doing it wrong? i bumped into it with p1 then p3... it did not unlock...

The player who gets his/her powers stolen also has to be the one who gets the powers back.

Just grab 3 extra controllers and play it until you see a metroid. That way you can have the one controller move to the metroid and have the others move away.

so p1 (or p2, p3, p4) has to bump into it twice? and im not useing hammers on anything

It isn't. Just be sure to only control the one that got the powers stolen to the Metroid. Get the others away from the victim so a fight doesn't start.
