When his heads are green hit them with the boomerang to expose his weak point gauge. Other than that Avoid His Attacks as they can be quite devastating.

ZL allows you to block Manhandla's bullet seed attack. You could also dodge and reach a safety area directly next to Manhandla, but you need to understand the timing to perform that maneuver.
