    Der... Not much, really. Just two+ people that can get along well. I consider it successful when the role players become really invested into what they're doing. Like, say, the length of the role play and how many times a day or week they go at it during that time. (It may not be a successful STORY, but that's a different issue. eue)

    Anything can be successful roleplay, I just look for a good development between characters, as long as the interaction is there anything can be successful, not necessarily good

    *A unique plot. I use transformation RPs, but you can use what you like. *When there is no typical Mary Sues. *When everyone follows the plot.
