Does anybody besides me feel that Pokémon could use a break in 2015? Ever since Platinum came out in 2009 (outside of Japan, anyway), we've had a Pokémon game every single year. The last time we've had a long break was between Diamond/Pearl and Platinum. (D/P came out in North America in April 2007, while Platinum came out March 2009 -- almost a two year gap.)

  • I don't really like how Pokémon has become a yearly franchise, because it will inevitably burn some people out. It's already starting to with me... I haven't done much with Omega Ruby after the Delta Episode. Also, besides 2008, the only other years where Pokémon has had a break in North America (and I think Europe as well) were in 2006 and 2002.

  • I don't mind playing a lot of pokémon, but I'm really concerned for the manga. I mean, X doesn't even have 2 badges yet. Give poor Kusaka and Yamamoto a break (and their assistant)! They have to work on 3 chapters (B2W2, XY, ORAS) at once and none of them are very far along.

  • Yeah, I don't like it becoming yearly. I feel as though it gives them an excuse to be lazy and not include things what were present in older games.

  • A mí tampoco me molesta jugar mucho Pokémon, pero tienes razón. Así como ahora no me molesta, puede que después me harte y lo deje de lado. También, deberían de permitirnos terminar los juegos a gusto.
