Question

Ok I have been playing this game for quite awhile now and I still dont understand the point system. Do I Birdie & Eagle, Albatross, Hole in one each hole or Par/Bogey each hole? Does the final score effect your Handicap?

you want birdie and under par means you score stays the same boggie mean you score goes up but you want - not +

So why are there tournaments for golfers with 0 thru +25 handicaps (3 listed)?

The holes that the game give you a +1 handicap on means it simply adds a shot to whatever you scored. So if you get a birdie it only scores the same as par but if you get double bogey it turns into a triple bogey. Your handicap can change (for better or worse) after playing this event. You should get your handicap back into the regular range if you want anything better than silver

Some even make the worst thing ever... Such as cheating their handis... I always waited for items to appear at the shop anyway for most now... I have skipped some of them...

Remember, you can still play the event, get the gear and not submit a score. Just say no to uploading it then delete it when it asks again in the tournament select screen.

Silly ninjas, stop being so fast ›_‹ Yeah thats for mega cheaters and people who aren't very good. That range is a regular handicap range, not the plus handicap range. So when they finish, their handicap is subtracted from their final score, not added to it like yours is.

Although it even gets into low handicap sometimes... That's the worst >_<. Low handicap accepts some of the regular range... The game encourages being a ninja (early) at equal score XD

Well why not give the sandbaggers a taste of their own medicine? Its really easy (but a little tedious) to get whatever handicap you want so why not get yourselves a 9 handicap (regular range) and shoot -31 nett? Shouldn't be that difficult, holes 8, 12 and 15 are makeable in one in this event if you need to catch up a shot or two.

Handicap decreases when you go a good deal lower than your handicap e.g. shooting -25 with a +17 will probably change it to close to +18. Handicap increases when you play several rounds worse than your mark e.g. shooting enough rounds around say -5 with a +16 handicap will slowly drop your handicap to closer to +5.

If you need (or want) more handicap for this event, just play the Forest Course Championship a few times and give up every hole for +144. It'll take a few goes but eventually you'll get the handicap you want. Nothing bad happens because of this, no cutscene or nothing so go nuts.

Im ok with my handicap (I think), so what are your handicaps scores? So what is a good score range (handicap)? because I wonder the difference in the low,medium,high tournaments.

Well, anyone who holds a regular handicap (without sandbagging) is pretty much useless at this game. This game was designed to be very easy so there's no way anyone can end up in the middle or high handicap events without sandbagging. Good handicap is subjective, talk to 10 people for 10 different answers but i'd say minimum +15 for a good player. The best would have about +20 i reckon.
