    Actually you don't have to sell billions of dollars of items. A lot of people get hung up on it has to be over 10 million! But really compare the 500+ million profit to the other two companies who are subsidized by their parent organizations

    Sony as a video game company by itself could survive for a lil while without Sony Entertainment paying the bills but at some point they would succumb to losses. Xbox as a video game company frankly I just can't see it succeeding by itself. Ever since xbox released Microsoft has been pumping funds to keep it running. Nintendo. For over 100 years has been self sufficient and self sustaning

    @yan-sid- I doubt it. Gamecube had more sales at the same point in its life and had 9 million sales at the point in time where wiiu was at 4-6 million. WiiU is most likely to sell less I think considering.

    [ Update ] Nintendo Financial Results Meeting has been reshceduled for Feb 17th. Normally it would have gone ahead on the same day this news was posted but Iwata came down with Flu so it was postponed.
