    It's just warning you that two aircraft are in close proximity. It doesn't necessarily mean that they are going to crash.

    actually in real life the pilot hold short of runway because the air traffic controller told them too. In other word, that's your job in this game! I also wouldn't be surprise if real life crash warning are just proximity alert as well. It's cheaper to implement than a complicated system that has to tell which lane the plane is on.
