    outside of that we cant really blame nintendo it was because of.....well....I dont really remember why (but I think it was hardware limitation) But I know in part it was because the 3DS couldn't take ice climbers and the wii u yes so they quit ice climbers from the game so that there is exclusive character

    TBH, I'm glad they're gone. They were horribly broken when together, helpless when alone, the AI was annoying, as it didn't always do what you want and it disappeared after the main one died rather than staying to fight, and they would be virtually unrecognizable were it not for Smash Bros. Duck Hunt and ROB serve as a much better representative for the NES era.

    It wasn't just chaingrabbing. It was that each attack connected twice, and that if one was momentarily incapacitated, the other could still stick around and fight, especially if you try to grab them.

    actually the ice climbers were confirmed for smash but the reason why there not in both versions because basically Sakurai had them working just fine on wii u but had problems in the ds version and he wanted the games similar so he cut them from both versions
