So Link became a DLC character Mario Kart 8. I actually know the real reason why he races with Mario! Because he has finished 100% of all of his quests and defeated Ganondorf. He had nothing to do, so then he decided to do some racing with karts. How does he know how to drive? He uses his skills from riding the Epona!
