So in SS, Zelda had to purify her body in the Skyview Spring and the Earth Spring, and this is what awakened her memories of being Hylia. That being said, do you think that Zelda's purification had more to do with removing impurities caused by supposed impure thoughts or actions, or do you think that "purification" here means something slightly different?

  • To me, I don't think "purification" is used here in a traditional sense of the word. Zelda's spirit IS the goddess Hylia and Her spirit has inhabited her body since Zelda was born, so why would she physically need to cleanse her body if the goddess is already there? I think it mostly had to do with awakening Her memories, and it provided Zelda with more of a blessing than an actual purification.

  • @#McRandom If you're implying what I think you're implying... LOL No!!! Though, of course, while I suppose it could be possible Ó_Ò... I actually don't think that really had anything to do with it! xD Like I said previously, I think Zelda's purifications were more of blessings, in that her prayers at each spring granted her something: the goddess Hylia's memories :3

  • @linkmaster Yes!!!!!!!! If you get chance to grab it, you DEFINITELY should!!!! I have to tell you that it's a little bogged down in the beginning with tutorials, but the dungeons and boss battles are fun, and the story is beeaauuutiful!!! Also, flying around on Link's Loftwing is really, really, really fun!!!! I loved the collectibles the most though! xD
