I think my friend safaris are broken...shiny Ponyta in 83 encounters (ivs of 31/0/0/x/31/x, lol), shiny Delibird in 37 encounters, and shiny Pupitar in 51 encounters. I'm never this lucky. o.e

    Nobody really knows what the odds are, but it's estimated they're either 1/455 or 1/512. Although, looking at the data, the highest chances are actually in the first 100 encounters. So I just switch safaris every 100 until getting lucky. Already got a shiny Teddiursa today. xD

    In the new gens of pokemon is way more easy to get a shiny more even in the friend safari, the more difficult shinies ever are in third gen games 1/8192 everytime... so.

    oh, I know the odds greatly increased (it's 1/512 if I recall correctly), just surprised so many end so quickly. I'm not what you'd call a lucky person...x) and major props if you shiny hunt in the old games, would never have the patience for that
