Well... I'm gonna say the obvious, but I'd want Link there! Not only is he pretty, but he's got a sword, he's got a pretty good track record of figuring out puzzles, and I could probably step on a switch for him or something! I'd be like Ruto, but without the complaining and having to carry around!
