    Most characters are like that, especially the 'smith. Even in Superstar Saga, when Prince Peasley is also searching for Beanstar pieces, YOU get all of the pieces. The only reasonable fetch quest is the Star Cures in BIS. Dr. Toadley was extremely busy, and he would at least get a cold if he searched for them (he'll be out there all night).

    Leaf: Well, at least he wasn't trying to be lazy. Dr. Toadley and Bedsmith didn't get the Star Cures and Ultibed parts for a good reason, respectively. Dr. Toadley was way too busy and weak to get them, and Bedsmith was petrified.
