I never quite understood why people treat Fierce Deity Link like he's at the top of the food chain, his only feat was murdering a genocidal manchild mask that's honestly not too high on the food chain itself, heck Vaati on a bad day has better feats than Majora

Not really, Demise's feats put him below Ganondorf, who isn't a god and yet the three golden goddesses had to sink Hyrule just so he'd stop wrecking the place,

He's pretty OP, so that might be it. I've meant to beat Minish Cap, but I couldn't find out how to get to the final room in time and just got bored.

Well, he's pretty OP for the game but how high is the bar anyway? And Majora is nowhere near G-dorf's league. I loved Minish Cap myself, I just hated that the kinstones were mapped to a button that could have been used for items, Vaati goes and does crazy things with, at most, Zelda's Light force, so it's fairly obvious Vaati>Majora, as well

What I mean is he's more powerful than Majora, and Majora isn't much of an easier boss than ganondorf, but I don't know about Vaati. I just don't see where people go with this food chain.

Well game difficulty should not be considered, as feats are the best way to gauge an opponent, all versions of G-dorf are stronger, it can be argued that the Phantom Hourglass final boss is stronger than Vaati, Demise should be stronger, even though he lost to a weaker Link

3/4 of the reason Link wins anyway is due to the Master Sword, Vaati was felled by the Four Sword, which is at least strong enough to off Ganondorf's evil descendant, Majora was offed by, best case scenario, a strong sword belonging to someone it had already beaten once, or, worst case scenario, a Kokiri Sword which should have some magic but is laughable in the grand scheme of things

Oh no problem, thing is, Fierce Deity is a mask and Majora possesses it, right? But Majora, despite being nuts, isn't stupid (otherwise why seal the giants in the first place?) considering it gave the mask away (and all masks are dead people) it's not farfetched to see that maybe he, or something of his, beat FD once before, which is exactly why I say that, while strong, FD isn't THAT strong

Fierce Deity is strong due to Link, same way Link is a better Goron, Zora, Deku than the originals. The thing with Majora is that the mask is an omnicidal wacko, it WANTS to destroy Termina, instead of ruling it. Most other Villains could bring the Moon down on Link... And then what? What is there to rule but a smoldering crater?

I believe there could be a possibility that Majora might not be evil. I mean, she doesn't kill your horse, and puts her on a farm. Also, Termina is basically all depressed, so maybe Majora thought of it as... Healing them? And Majora gives you a Mask to make you more powerful. Idk, I think she's nuetral.

I kinda agree, it's not that it's full on evil, it's just chaotic and very crazy, it's supposed to be the opposite of Fierce Deity, and Fierce Deity is stated to be vengeful and destructive, so yeah. Think about it, the mask can't be used outside boss battles, maybe it's because it attacks indiscriminately? It's not like Zelda games actively block OP endgame stuff
