Wow. Looking at Talonflame's base stats, it shows that people only use him to spam priority Brave Birds, and if the opponent is using priority, he's got good speed to fall back on. His attacking stats aren't that great and his moves are mainly STAB high power moves (Brave Bird, Overheat, Flare Blitz).
