    Practice, practice, practice! That's basically it! :D But you'll also need to breed and train "competitive" pokémon and all that (if you haven't already that is). And mostly analyse and over analyse your opponent's possible moves. Pretty much like chess! So practice OP, PRACTICE! You'll end up winning eventually. :)

    I'll take it into consideration since I'm New to Pokemon, but I'm not really Playing for Competitive Reasons. I fear I might take it too seriously and lose the fun, But thanks for the Tip.
