    Well, that's the impression I got during the DE. I also guess she must have died or something, and now Zinnia is in a semi delusional state where she sometimes thinks Whismur is Aster.

    I would be suprised if the original Aster was her daughter. I have doubts about that because Zinnia is a teenager. I do believe we will know the answer in the next game. Zinnia left Hoenn at the end. The next PK game is most likely continuous to the XY series. OR/AS is a prequel to XY and Zinnia probably traveled to Kalos.
