    i no how to STOP your pokemon from hitting itself 1. use not very effective moves. 2. use moves that aren't your typing 3. GIVE EM A LOM BERRY 4. just switch out

    oohh and i forgot IF u use a move with base power of a move thats 100 or higher it has a higher chance of hitting itself.
