    @Grasping but he's not talking about the 'real world' he's talking about pokemon and in pokemon its nots real. So it really doesn't matter and only one would refer to them as...'pets' .

    Do you have any proof of the pokemon being 'adopted' or 'tamed'? and you basically said that the kids are bidding there 'pets'(pokemon) in battle its not there fault you decided to walk in front of them, if you have a problem with it them why play the game? If you don't like the way it is then don't play it!?
