    As everyone just said, Vitamins and Super Training. It might take a while though, it took me a while to get a Hitmontop. There are also some hard to get hold items, but they cost BP to purchase.

    More specifically... a higher defense stat grants Hitmonchan, a higher Attack stat yields Hitmonlee, and equal stats yield Hitmontop.
