Impressions

No this isn't the precursor to Vigilante8, more like a sequel to Kung Fu from the NES... which on every other system & in the arcade was called Kung Fu Master... unless you lived in Japan, where it was called Spartan X... which was named after a Jackie Chan movie that had it's name changed to Meals on Wheels... although the gameplay reminded me more of the final scenes in Bruce Lee's Game of Death

    I love 'Kung Fu' on NES! Is this game really like it? If so, I might buy it. Can you tell me a bit about it?

    It feels like a sequel of sorts, your girlfriend Madonna (yes that's what she's really called) has been kidnapped & you have to fight your way through thugs & bosses to save her! This is one tough game however, I've only gotten a few stages in.

    I checked out a YouTube video, and it does indeed appear to play very similarly to 'Kung Fu'. I'll probably go ahead and buy it. I just hope it's not the only VC game we're getting.

    Hey if we get any Turbografx-16 games in the west again I will not be complaining. Even if it's horrible like China Warrior. lol

    Konami seems to be waiting for something to give the west Turbografx-16 games, what that is I have no idea. They are running out of NES & SNES games to bring to the VC, so hopefully it's sooner rather than later.
