(Sorry, I had to do something.) Rhea and Huoya took on Tate and Lisa like true champs. Working together, they had nothing to fear. In a matter of moments, they emerged victorious. Everyone congratulated Shorai as she returned to sign her name. Gym Guy and Sola seemed to get along. Then, it was off to the next Gym in Sootopolis. After much water and diving, the team finally arrived.

Team Shorai stood outside Wallace's Water Gym, as the leader addressed her team. "Alright team, this is it! Cobblestone and Mostyn, you two will lead the charge. These Water types won't stand a chance against your awesome might." "Darn tootin'!" "Daddy and I will win!" Kimmy and Sola gave Shorai the thumbs-up. "Go get 'em, Champ!"

The Cobbler took the gym by storm. He showed his daughter how it was done, and made sure she had her chance. Together, the two made it to Wallace in no time. "I'm impressed you've made it this far, darlings," the Gym Leader stated. "Now, show me your power. All of it! Don't hold back!" Cobblestone made sure he did just that. With his hard-hitting moves and superb speed, he outmatched everyone.

Wallace tried to stop him, but only failed. Whenever the Cobbler began to tire, Mostyn finished the job. Soon, the battle had been won. "Well done," congratulated Wallace. "You've done a fine job. Here, take your last badge. Good luck in the Pokemon League!" "Thanks Mr!" answered Shorai. Then she walked back to sign her name and say goodbye to Gym Guy one last time. Finally, the League was there

However, as Shorai knew, there was still that whole save-the-world thing. "Congratulations," Sola smiled. "You've done it. But, now we need to..." "Yeah, yeah, I know." Shorai rolled her eyes, chuckling. "The Time Gears. So, where do we go now?" Kimmy spoke up. "Wherever it is, my team and I are ready to help save the world!" (Your turn. Seems appropriate enough, eh?)

"Right! Yes, of course!" Kimmy was still trying to process all the info, but knew she had no time. "Aye, Silva! Take us to Sky Tower!" "Awaaheee!" The Skarmory quickly flew them all to the top of the tower. When the team arrived, it was quiet. Kimmy was looking around frantically. "Alright, now what?!? What do we do now?" Grovyle answered, "We call Rayquaza." (Is this good?)

(I don't mind. It is YOUR story after all! Also, I really wish I played Explorers of Sky/Darkness, so I knew what to do here. Let me go research it.)

(OK. I think I know enough. Let me just say, I won't have much time today to help with the story.) Temporal Tower was quite quiet. A clock ticking in the distance was all Team Shorai could hear. They immediately ran through the rooms, desperately trying to reach the top of the tower's 24 floors. Kimmy shouted over the mayhem, "So! It's one of these places, is it! Well, Becca, hand me my

Luminous X-Ray Specs!" "I can do better than that, Kimmy." answered the Gardevoir, as she gave everyone Stair-Vision. As the team went through the floors, they saw many events in history. Shorai saw her own birth, Sola witnessed Mewtwo's creation, and Kimmy watched as Ryan Casares betrayed her. Grovyle shouted, "Don't watch them! They're made to keep you here forever! Look away and climb stairs

The team kept climbing. Wonderful sights beckoned to them, but they refused. They had a mission. After they climbed halfway up, Temporal Tower decided to get dangerous. Now, in addition to distractions, there were rooms full of monsters. As soon as the group set foot into their house, the monsters would ambush from the ceiling. However, Team Shorai always prevailed. Then the tower forced the

team into these rooms. What's worse, they were full of Agility and Discharge-packing Porygons! In no time, they surrounded our heroes. However, Ensio and Mufala took the blows without even being hurt, which allowed everyone else to fight back. They were not about to let the Safari Zone happen again. Well, Temporal Tower had some things to say about that. As the crew were nearing the top, they

were suddenly warped away from each other! The Porygons then acted fast. They swarmed the whole floor in an attempt to stop our heroes. "Gah!" exclaimed Sola, as she chopped one in half. "Don't these guys know the fate of the world hangs in the balance?" Grovyle answered from across the hall, "They don't care! They'll never die!" Rhea spit on the dozen she defeated. "Yeah? Well I ain't havin it

Mostyn hugged her daddy as the two fought back. Mr. Cobbler had much fury as he punched the monsters out. Catdelia and Huoya burned everyone, Churro and Silva evaded everything, Kevin and Rhea showed strength, and Shorai and Kimmy held their ground as Akiko and Becca brought the team together. They were not going to leave their Trainers. Meanwhile, Ensio and Mufala laughed and annihilated all.

One by one, the Gardevoirs lead the team members together. At this point, the Porygons ran in fear, their mission failed, Team Shorai's still in progress. The quietness of the last few floors was eerie, especially after the mayhem that just occurred. Even the background clock couldn't be heard. Nevertheless, the team marched on. Grovyle stopped. "This is it," he stated. "The final floor. Now..."

Are you ready to save the world?" Shorai smiled, Ensio roared, Akiko stared, Cobblestone was a family man, Rhea was in charge, Mostyn chirped, and Huoya jumped. Kimmy thumbed-up, Mufala grinned, Kevin punched fists, Becca nodded, Catdelia flung her tails, Churro bawed, and Silva screeched. Sola and Grovyle then entered the tower's top. They were ready. (This is it! Go Lexi! For great justice!)

(I feel very helpless. Why would you betray me like this Lexi? After that stunning conclusion, you want me to write what happens next? WHYYYYYYYYYYY?!? ... Very well then, I shall try.)

Team Shorai watched as the world woke up. Rivers flowed, people walked, and many talked. Life had resumed. Shorai was elated. She felt proud as she gazed upon the world she had saved. Sola looked at her mom in honor. She stood next to her, Groyle and Shorai at her sides. Kimmy, however, couldn't bear to watch. She was glad, but felt a unexplainable sadness. Shorai turned and noticed this.

"What's the matter, Kimmy?" the strong girl asked "We did it! Aren't you happy?" Kimmy looked away. "Yes, I suppose so." she mumbled "I mean, woohoo and all that, we can go on living. It's just..." Kimmy paused, before eventually looking back at Shorai. "Can you do me a favor?" "Anything, Champ." "When we battle, can you please just get it over with? Don't fool around, just beat me, OK?"

Now Shorai frowned. "How can you say such things, especially now of all times? What would your Pokemon say?" Kimmy smiled sadly. "I've failed them, Shorai. They won't tell you so, but it's true." She closed her eyes. "Sometimes I wish I could end it all right now." "But enough moping about!" the Champion exclaimed suddenly. "When you're tired, you say the darndest things! Come on, let's enjoy!"

Shorai was confused and decided to ask Lexi. "Hey Lexi, what's going on with Kimmy? How can she possibly be sad?" Lexi chuckled. "That's Kimmy for you! Leave it up to her to find sorrow in saving the world!" Shorai watched. Kimmy stood by herself on the edge of the tower, looking down at the ground. But she wouldn't jump. Such actions weren't allowed. Kimmy opened Becca's Pokeball.

"Becca?" Kimmy asked with a sigh. "Yes, Kimmy?" "What's it like protecting me all the time?" "It's a full-time job, to be sure." Silence. Then, "Do you think I've failed you?" "No, but I've failed you. I was unsuccessful in protecting you from yourself." More silence. Suddenly, Kimmy doubled over in laughter. She laughed until she could hardly breathe. Everyone else stared at her like she was

crazy, which only made her laugh harder. Finally, she stopped. Even more silence. Then, "I don't fear you or any of the other team members anymore, Becca. You're my friends." Becca smiled. "I'm glad to hear that, Kimmy." "Now come here, all of you! Give me a hug!" And with that, Kimmy released the entire team, and they shared one giant group hug, their love sounding clear across the world.

As the hugging stopped, Kimmy and Becca remained. They stood there, motionless, locked in hug-to-hug combat. Becca was known for her powerful embraces, and this was one such one. Kimmy closed her eyes and practically melted in her Gardevoir's arms. When it was finally over, Kimmy's strength had been renewed. Akiko then asked Shorai, "Why don't we ever do that?" Shorai shot her a sly look, and

did the same. Sola and Lexi then looked at each other and knew what had to be done. Dialga even managed to get in on the action by hugging himself. (My goodness, what have I written? Here, I need to go before I write any more bizarreness. You take the reigns. What do you think about my part though? Is it heartwarming enough? I wanted to show just how much Kimmy has changed. I think I'm close.)

(I'll do my best!) And so, the crew flew back to Sky Tower, err... Pillar. There, Rayquaza bid them farewell. "UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, FELLIW SAVIORS. I SHALL NOW ORDER A TACO!" And then the green dragon was off. Kimmy turned to the group. "Well, it's been fun, but I think SOMEBODY needs to take on the Pokemon League!" Shorai chuckled. "Yeah, yeah! I'll get there eventually. Your title isn't gone

yet! Just hold your Ponytas!" "Heh, alright then." Kimmy looked at Shorai and Lexi before sending out Silva. "Well, I'll be waiting for you, Shorai. Lexi, I'd love to talk, but I know how busy you are. See you next mission." And off Kimmy flew to the Pokemon League. Shorai turned to Lexi. "She just left us here, didn't she?" "Yep, as usual." Suddenly, Kimmy was back. "Gotcha!" The Champ then

flew them to Victory Road. She told Shorai, "You don't need to go through it yet, but at least now it's marked on your map! See you!" And she was off. "Lexi," Shorai asked "Has Kimmy always been this weird?" "As long as I've known her." laughed Lexi. "Do you really think I can beat her in the League?" "Anything's possible with Pokemon, you know. As you saw at Sky Pillar, Kimmy's team is tough,

yet as she very well knows, she's far from the best." Lexi looked at the sky. "Kimmy and I have been through a lot. Honestly, I think she wants to be beaten. That way, she can truly let go of the past." Shorai considered this, as Lexi continued. "But, who knows? I may be totally wrong about her! Just give Kimmy all you've got, OK?" Shorai nodded. "I will." "Now if you'll excuse me, I have very

important matters to attend to, now that the whole end-of-the-world thing is done with. See you!" And then, Lexi surfed away on her Swampert for justice, leaving Shorai all alone. The girl looked at the large cave in front of her. She knew many Trainers metaphorically died here, but she wouldn't be one of them. She was Shorai. (All is back to normal. Is Shorai ready? I say so. Now, your turn.)

(Sorry I took so long. I was busy playing with my brother. I say we should battle once Shorai makes it to Kimmy. Once she does, we'll have to find each other and finally do it. I'll be sure to write everything down! For now...) Team Shorai entered the Road of Victory. They battle across bridges, dug deep in the depths, and surfed splendidly. Many powerful trainers fell before their might.

Shorai and co. made it to the Pokemon League. At long last, their dream was coming true! After stocking up and healing at the PokeCenter, the team began their challenge. First, they battled Sidney and his Dark types. Cobblestone made quick work of them with his fighting ability. Ghost-Type Phoebe was next. Her whole team was tough, but so was Shorai's. The girl pushed through her in no time.

Next came Glacia. She commanded the fiercest Ice-Types. But Shorai commanded the fiercest Pokemon! Huoya melted their hearts. Lastly, Team Shorai faced Drake and the Dragons. Akiko's newfound Fairy typing proved very useful in slaying them, as did Rhea's steel might. The captain stepped down. Shorai moved on. She could see the giant door leading to the Champion, to Kimmy. She was ready.

Shorai entered the sparkling white room. There sat Kimmy. "So," the Champion smiled, as she stood up. "Here we are. You've come a long way, Shorai. Are you sure you're ready?" Shorai thought back to when she first trained Ensio, when she found Akiko, Cobblestone, and the rest of her team. She remembered all they had went through. It all lead up to this. "Yes." Shorai answered "Let's get to it!"

Kimmy nodded. "Very well then. Let's begin! Good luck to both of us." (Well, here we are. The anticipation is killing me! Lexi, I will be back in half an hour, OK? My brother wants to eat now before he goes to his practice. I'm sorry to delay the battle even more, but I promise I will be back soon, pen/Pokemon and all!)

(I'm ready. Looks like I missed you though. Anyhow, I shall remain in Alpha Sapphire and on Miiverse. By the way, what kind of battle should we have? Single with no restrictions?)

(Sorry, I meant you capped the Pokemon levels at 50. Otherwise, we would have faced off at our FULL strength. Nevertheless, it was still a great battle. The question is, what do we do now?)

Very well then. Shall I do the honors and describe the battle? I have the entire thing written out.

(You're welcome.) "Come on out Mufala!" "Mostyn, I choose you!" And so the final fight had begun. Kimmy saw the danger, and switched to Catdelia, who received a Leaf Blade to the face. Catdelia used Flamethrower, but Shorai switched to Ensio! Ensio attacked with Rock Slide, but Kimmy had switched back to Mufala. By this point, the Champion was tired of switching and decided on a starter battle!

Ensio used Earthquake, while Mufala did Waterfall. Both Swampert fought hard, but another Ensio Earthquake took Mufala down! Next, Kimmy sent out Churro. His Headbutt caused Ensio to flinch, giving Churro another Headbutt. Ensio went down, and Cobblestone came out. Churro headbutted, while The Cobbler retaliated. Kimmy ordered Churro to dig away. The attack only bought time, as it didn't do much.

When Churro resurfaced, Cobblestone took him down with a Mega Drain. Kimmy knew it was over at this point, yet kept trying. She sent out Catdelia, who beat Cobs with a quick Flamethrower. Shorai then sent out Huoyan, who dug, causing Catdelia's Extrasensory to miss. Kimmy saw the danger and switched to Silva. Huoyan's Dig failed, but her Flamethrower didn't. Silva held on with Sturdy, before Air

Slashing. It didn't do much, and Huoyan Extremespeeded Silva down. Next, Kevin arrived. He held Houyan off with Low Sweeps, as she tried burning and outspeeding him. Shorai then sent out Akiko, who promptly stopped Kevin with Psychic. Catdelia returned with a Fire Blast. Akiko used Toxic. Catdelia felt ill, but pressed on with Feint Attack. Akiko Moonblasted, Catdelia threw flames and landed a

burn! Akiko took her down with Thunderbolt, but then fainted from her burn. Kimmy looked at her Becca, her last Pokemon. "Becca," she told her. "No matter what happens, I'll always love you. Please lend me your strength." "I'll do my best, Kimmy." Then Kimmy sent her out. Mostyn had returned to make a Wish. As she did so, Becca Mega Evolved and calmed her mind. Then, she channeled her love for

Kimmy, and Returned it. Mostyn was touched, and used Leaf Blade. Becca kept Returning, as Mostyn Giga Drained. Then, Mostyn ended it with her Last Resort. Time stopped for Kimmy as Becca fell. She had lost. Shorai had won. All was as it should be. "I did it," Shorai stated, stunned "I did it! I did it, I did it, I did it! YES!" Kimmy revived her team and walked over slowly to congratulate her.

She smiled sadly as she said, "Congratulations Shorai, you're the new Champion! All your hard work has finally paid off. Come, let's put your team in the Hall of Fame." They walked on. Shorai was still excited. She put her team into the Fame Machine, and watched as they appeared in magnificent glory. Then she turned to Kimmy. "Thank you so much, Kimmy! That was the best battle I've ever had!"

"You're welcome," Kimmy answered. Then she was quiet, unsure of what else to say. (Maybe you should join in now? I don't want to go too far here.)
