    In XY,they changed the method of determining Shininess,now it's one in 4096. Combine that with the Masuda Method,it's one in 2048. Combine THAT with Shiny Charm,and it's one in 1024. Also,DexNav or fishing chains can improve chances further.

    The chance to meet a wild shiny pokemon is almost 1:8120. There are a few things with which you can reduce this number. When you´ve filled your nationel pokedex you get an item which makes the chance higher, with which you´ll get a shiny by breeding. If you breed with pokemon from different countries the chance will be still higher. ..hope my english is´t too bad
