Pro Tip: Don't bother using any of the "Hax Items". These include Bright Powder, Lax Inscense, Focus Band and Quick Claw. Their effects sound useful, but they are extremely inconsistent and unreliable. By using them you are putting yourself at an immediate disadvantage against an opponent using better items like Life Orb, Choice Items, Leftovers, Pinch Berries, etc.

So true and don't forget about Evolite, especially on like a Chansey to have an amazing tank, Softboil, Protect, Toxic, ect.

  • They one useful one is bright powder since bright powder makes the chances of the foe to miss like 10% of the time. Works great if the foe uses moves live high jump kick or wilo-wisp. Focus band yes it bad and lax increase to. Quick Claw seems decent 1 in 5 chances to go first so decent. The bad items to me would be All the increases All the plates Wise Glasses Muscle band BP Traps

  • @ Kazuto 10% miss rate still isn't that reliable, especially against 100 accuracy moves. If people can land Focus Blasts fairly consistently, you throwing off their groove of their HJK by 9 points won't be the end of the world either. Quick Claw is still really bad. Just use your slow tank for what it is: a slow tank. Capitalize on that with strong items like Choice Band.

  • Well certain items are BP Waster and traps. But to be honest I dont think bright powder should not be one of them.

  • BTW what do you mean all of the increasers? The Pinch Berries are amazing if you're a bulky tank or have Sturdy when SR isn't out. I'll give you that Bright Powder MIGHT be useful when combined with Sand Veil or Snow Cloak for maximum annoyance.
