Ummmm.... what? I just infected my Gengar from Soul Silver with Pokerus and already it's spreading effect goes away. What the heck just happened?

    Yes I know what it does, but Pokerus' spreading effect doesn't instantly go away the second the Pokemon is infected.

    Yes, again, I know how it works. But this is what happened. I JUST infected it, RIGHT NOW and the next second, gone. I know putting Pokemon in the box keeps them infected forever til they are pulled out. My question is why did it INSTANTLY go away the second it was infected.

    What time did you infect it, and what time is it on your game? If you infected it before midnight, and didn't have it in the PC when midnight passed, it could be "cured" if it has strain A Pokérus.

    @Kyora: 0:51, and I infected Gengar 32 minutes ago, after midnight. @Chris: I'll try it once I get the chance to. I'm grinding my Gengar so I can not have the risk of it getting knocked out instantly by Cobalion like my Gardivoir has as it is a Fairy Type and Cobalion using Sword Dance a few times then Iron Head is instant K.O.
