@Alejandro, Well, maybe things happen differently in the main Zelda cannon. Also, I if Cia were the "Goddess of Time", she might not be an actual goddess. It would just be a title. A person who can wield magic, see across dimensions, and see everything in the past and present? That could easily make someone think that she would be a goddess. But it's just the powers of her clan, given from Hylia!

@Alejandro, Haha as much as I would love to have my theory confirmed, I don't think that that confirms it. While most Hylians DO have long ears, I think they mostly have to be pointy rather than long. There are a few Hylians such as, Beedle, Dodoh, and I think Tingle who's ears are short and pointy and they are still considered to be Hylians. But I'm not sure.

@Alejandro: Yes Nayru is the goddess of wisdom, however since the Oracle games. Nayru, the oracle, had control over time. Due to the fact that the Goddess Hylia, became a mortal by the name of Zelda. The Golden Goddesses doing this same thing and becoming Oracles is not impossible.

If you remember correctly about how the world they live in was created. Din created the material realm, Nayru gave the realm law and order, and Farore created all life forms that would follow the said order. Time can easily fall under law and order of the world. And since Nayru as an oracle had control over time, it further goes along with this idea.

Gotcha, to be honest I wouldn't mind if the Hyrule Warriors characters became canon, however I would mostly want the roles of Cia and Lana revised in order to better fit the canon. Cause as of right now the Hyrule Warriors story would pretty much retcon Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess's stories. And the story of OoT just a little bit.

Another interesting note, is that Tael says “Goddess of time, help us!” at the beginning of Majora's Mask when you first confront Skull Kid. And In that same cutscene, Princess Zelda also mentions the Goddess of Time when she says “May the Goddess of Time protect you...”. So, whoever the Goddess of Time is, both the inhabitants of Termina abd Hyrule know of her.

There's a theory that Termina originally did have the three Golden Goddesses with them, but people wanted to refuse them in favor of the Giants and even Majora. And due to the fact that over time, legends and stories are changed or misremembered. Basically meaning they can forget the real origin of this or that legend. Like one thing being forgotten is the Goddess Hylia and Skyloft over time.

Way down the line of the Adult Timeline, the original Golden Goddesses are pretty much lost to history. Meaning that you can easily forget where these things really come from. There's actual things in real life like that, especially in religion where the actual origins of things have been changed over time. And now the majority believes in the changed thing and does not know of the original.

I've currently own every Zelda game, and just haven't 100% beaten Legend of Zelda Second Quest, Oracle of Ages/Seasons 100% including doing Hero's Quest for both of them and doing the continued story on both (I'm half way though), and I need to 100% beat Four Swords, but that's impossible alone. And well I need to 100% beat Majora's Mask 3D.

I think that her personality would be that of a more serious Lana. Still happy and optimistic, but less energetic, and more serious and down to earth.

The Guardian of Time would indeed be more serious. What a lot of people overlook is that Cia's personality was the small evil in the Guardian of Time that was amplified by Ganondorf's evil. Turning her love into lust for Link to make him hers forever, and her envy towards Zelda into murderous intent. Her personality and design really show this.

@RailGun, Also I think that (The Dark Sorceress) Cia was originally supposed to be the serious and laid back half of her former self. The only reason she went crazy was due to Ganondorf corrupting her. Another thing was that in the final battle against Cia, Zelda [unless it was the narrotor?] said something along the lines of Cia's soul was so corrupted, it was beyond repair.

And with Lana, she certainly has a bubbly personality. I've thought for the most part it's mostly a facade to hide her real feelings most of the time. Since she's someone whose in love with a person who she knows she can't be with and has to be around that person a lot. She would need to put on a brave/happy face at times to hide the hurt.

When you look at some of her facial expressions during the story and on that True Partners illustration you'll see a hurt face when looking towards Link and try to change back to a happy facade to hide it. Though one thing about Link is that he doesn't always end up with Zelda after the games end. @Alejandro: That statue was in the game long before the creepypasta was made.

I know what you're referring to about the Mario games, however they're just strange being and not really Slenderman. And about Nintendo always having the family view point you'd be surprised. In one Kirby game there's a silhouette of lady parts and a smiley face made out of blocks. And main bad guy from Earthbound has the pattern of a fetus and his dialogue is referring to adult themes.
