This is just the opinion of a person who grew up in the N64 era, a person who has been in love with Majora's Mask since it came out on Halloween of 2000, but this version is significantly worse to me. It's buggy, there are pointlesd changes, boss fights are now either way too easy or changed entirely. Swimming as Zora Link has been changed. Why? Nintendo, why do I have to waste my magic just -c-

  • to swim at the original speed? Why change that? Why so many achievements for miniscule things? Why change South Clock Town? Why does the camera freak out when I swim or use a Deku flower? Sigh. I dunno. I'm close to beating this game already and my childhood is mourning. Just my opinion.

  • Why add more save points when they are literally just 7 feet from each other? If you're going to add more save points to the dungeons, space them out. It's pointless to put a feather statue at the beginning when an owl statue is right outside.

  • Why change some of the mask locations? I was running around like a chicken without a head looking for the Stone Mask. No longer near Ikana but in the pirate's fortress? Why? That confuses and insults people like me, who played and love the original. For new players, it doesn't matter. So why? To make it easier for them? I was 6 years old and found it fine on my own. It's not a puzzle game when -c-

  • you give players in-your-face hints and handouts. It's insulting.

  • And if you guys thought Navi was annoyinb, wait until you see how the butchered Tatl when getting the Zora eggs at the Pirate's fortress. It's painful.
