    between 1:50 pm and... 2:30 pm (I think, not sure) of the first day talk to Anju while wearing the goron mask. She'll give you the key.

    You have to talk to her FOR THE FIRST TIME as Goron Link in the afternoon. If you talk to her before that, regardless of your form, she'll be onto your shenannigans and hold the room for the proper tenant.

    Yeah I've been counting on getting that extra hundred rupees each day and I had to reset back to the dawn of the first day a few times because I kept forgetting exactly when and how I could get in. Of course if you don't care about the rupees, you don't need a key anyway. The top door is always unlocked :)
